Sarita Wilkinson features in StrategyEye and shares her opinion on the latest report from Juniper Research who predicts fitness wearable tech devices look more likely to drive the wearable space than smart watches.
Wilkinson tells StrategyEye: “as technologies continue to overlap the pressure will be on both sides, as consumers decide if they want convergence or divergence from their future devices. The Apple Watch is interesting, it’s wide use of colours and materials means they are able to appeal to many people who might have previously been put off the by the ‘sporty’ or ‘techie’ look of the first wave of smartwatches or fitness trackers.”
